About Loux Crochet

Hello, I'm Alix, also known as Loux 🌷

I started crocheting at the end of Covid, during a period when I suddenly had a lot (a lot) of free time. Between online classes, my hours on Animal Crossing, and my anime marathons, I stumbled upon a crocheted cardigan that was trending online... and I thought: why not me?

I tried it, I was hooked immediately, and I haven't really stopped since.

Today, I've been crocheting for 5 years and knitting for 1 year, always with the same desire: to create beautiful pieces that are enjoyable to make, to wear, and that truly make you want to keep them for a long time.

What I love most about creating is the freedom it brings.

Over time, I found it increasingly difficult to find pieces in stores that I genuinely liked, both in terms of cut and material. Creating my own clothes and accessories allowed me to build a more personal, creative wardrobe that is more aligned with what I truly love to wear.

That's also how Loux Crochet was born: with the desire to offer pieces and patterns designed to be beautiful, modern, accessible, and enjoyable to create.

I love sharing what I create, but also everything I learn along the way.

My patterns are designed to be clear, modern, and accessible, even for beginners, with real step-by-step explanations, not just a page of abbreviations you have to reread five times to understand 😅
